On behalf of the of
Local Organizing Committee of ICCM-16 (formed by the Japan Society
for Composite Materials), I would like to invite
you to attend the 16th International Conference on Composite Materials
(ICCM-16) to be held in Kyoto, Japan from July 8th (registration
only) to 13th, 2007.
This conference follows a preeminent tradition of ICCM, the world’s
leading composite conference series. Internationally renowned composite
scientists, engineers, and designers continue to attend the ICCM series
in order to present their newest findings and keep up to date with
the latest achievements in these very active, high-technology fields.
The main theme of the conference will be “A Giant Step towards
Environmental Awareness: From Green Composites to Aerospace”.
This theme symbolizes the contribution of composite materials to
the global environment including two extreme cases in composites research,
namely aerospace applications and green composites that contain natural
reinforcements. This theme is also highly appropriate as the conference
venue is the Kyoto International Conference Center (ICC Kyoto), birthplace of the Kyoto
Protocol for Carbon Dioxide
Reduction.
We look forward to seeing you in Kyoto in July 2007 for ICCM-16!
